Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty
Ashton Blaise Whitty, an actress, was born 1 October, 1995 located in Berkeley, California. She is most famous as an actor appearing as a character in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004) and Chrissie Mair's Content House.
Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into an extended family of actors and filmmakers. Both are careers she has herself pursued. Sogni e bisogni, directed by Sergio Citti and starring Asia Argento at the age of nine, was her debut film. She played the lead role in the film of Cristina Comencini's Zoo (1988) as well in Michele Soavi's 1989 movie The Church. In 1989, she portrayed Nanni Moretti's child as the Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (1992), directed and written by Michele Placido was the film that launched Asia's acting career. It was her first time moving from young girl roles to mature and complex ones. It was a huge success in the Cannes International Film Festival. Trauma was her first film created with her father. Her mother, Daria Nicoledi, is Argento's favorite actress. in Trauma she played an anorexic seeking her parents' murderer. The Phantom of the Opera is a film that was created in collaboration with her late father The Phantom of the Opera is the third three films she's acted in. The other two were Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni used her absorbed and intense manner of acting in Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau was her director in Queen Margot, where she played a prominent role. In 1995, she collaborated with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion , which again earned her a David diDonatello as well as the Grolla d'oro. In 1994, Asia began directing and turned out two short films, Prospettive and Prospettive In 1996 she produced a documentary about her father, and in 1998, she directed a documentary about the cult director Abel Ferrara, Abel/Asia (1998), which received an award from the Rome Film Festival. Asia was the director of her first feature in Scarlet Diva (2000). It was a collaborative effort between Asia and screenwriter/actor Linda McCartney. The film premiered worldwide in May 2000. It was awarded a trophy at the Williamsburg International Film Festival, Brooklyn. Anna Lou was born in 2001 following her directing some music videos. In 2002, she appeared in The Red Siren by Olivier Megaton with Jean-Marc Barr and in the action thriller directed by Rob Cohen, with Vin Diesel. Asia has also written several short stories which have been published by many magazines.
